Great bang for your buck at breakfast, the food is super yummy. Located in a nice neighborhood, which is convenient as it's close to the festive Christmas markets 🎄.

Rooms in hotel are really big!!! It seems to have been an appartment building in past history, now I doubt if you can find a larger floor space in the area or even Berlin for the reasonable price.
Police and other traffic was loud. Otherwise a little more info about the area and where to get transport would help. For such a good kitchen, facilities to make tea/ coffee etc would be a big improvment. Pleasw stop the rain!!!\ Tg

It is located very closely to Alexanderplatz and Berlin Convention Center where I had business meeting. The meeting organizers recommended the hotel.
I have requests at the reception of Agon-Alexanderplatz a paid access to W-Lan, provided by third party Swisscom, but the W-Lan did not work. However, the W-Lan signal was weak and the connection repeatedly broke of. I called Swisscom customer service phone number five times and there was nobody to answer my call. I discussed the situation with Agon staff twice, and left a written description of the W-Lan failure at the hotel reception desk. Agon stuff took notice of my complaints and did nothing to address the failure. Several days after the incident, the W-Lan still did not work. Shortly before I left for the airport to fly back to the U.S.A., where I live and work I discussed this issue for the 2nd time with Agon representative. I told him that I will not pay the charges for the service because W-Lan did not work. Because of his lack of training or, perhaps because of another equipment failure, the receptionist was unable to print me the hotel bill. Nevertheless I trusted the receptionist honesty and business integrity of Agon-Alexanderplatz, and I signed the Visa payment authorization even though the hotel bill was not presented to me. I was very surprised and disappointed to find out that charges for the W-Lan were added to the hotel bill. This was dishonest and unfair. Agon, selling Swisscom service is responsible for it, and must not unfairly shift the burden on the hotel guests. The failure of the W-Lan must be resolved between Agon and Swisscom. Given the Agon staff’s conduct, I feel that I had been cheated.

I liked the location and price.
We used to drink water with ice. Breakfast room did not have any. The waiter's exact words were " Unfortunately we do not have ice here". This is a shoking experience for my wife. You pay 9Euro for breakfast and can not have a cube of ice. You be the judge as this is your hotel.

Convenient location near public transportation, with a bus station just a short walk away and a metro station nearby, alongside popular tourist attractions like Mausoleum Familie Brose.

The room was spaceous and quiet. Actually we had a giant two room suite. I presume that this was formerly an apartment building.
There is no air conditioning, which can be an issue in Berlin in the summer. The place is charmless, like a roomy American budget motel. Do not expect any amenities. It is about two long blocks from Alexanderplatz, in a neighborhood that is safe but somewhat run down.

All in all - had a good 2 night stay. Standard queen room was cheap, the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was reasonably priced and marvellous for much cheaper prices and had a good choice of food. The hotel was centrally located, next to western Berlin and Wansee, Potsdam, a tram station and alexanderplatz which is a main transport hub with trams, buses and underground links and set in a residential area. Local fast food option Snack Revier was 5 minutes walk away. That was what I call suitable place for party.
